Birthday Parties / Special Events
Make your birthday extra special by celebrating it with a party at the DPNC! Program themes feature live animals, natural crafts, nature walks, and more. Educators tailor parties to age, group size and season so each party is unique!
Parties are 2 hours long. During the first hour, Nature Center staff will run a program of your choice (see below). The second hour is yours for cake, gifts, etc. Children are welcome to explore the Nature Center during that time, but they must be supervised.
You will need to provide your own cake, food, plates, utensils, tablecloths, decorations, party favors, etc. No balloons please.
Regular parties are held on weekends or weekdays, during our regular hours. Nocturnal Notions Parties are 5-7 p.m., 6-8 p.m. or 7-9 p.m.
Meet the critters who live at the Nature Center! Guests will have a chance to touch turtles, frogs and snakes. Includes a craft, or a hike to the pond or the bird of prey enclosures.
