A special experience for your youngest camper. Our
experienced early childhood teachers will guide your camper
through a week of nature fun, learning about animals and
plants, through activities, meeting live animals, stories,
songs, games and lots of time on the trails. Please provide a
water bottle and snack each day.
Ducklings are NOT eligible for pre and after camp. Must be bathroom independent. |
Investigators
Entering Grades 1 & 2
All Weeks
9am - 4pm (3 Field Trips)
$270 member $320 non/week
(Week 4 $165 mem / $190 non)Experience the
natural world by exploring different habitats at the Nature
Center and around the area every day through hands-on
experiences. Pond dipping for tadpoles, seining for crabs,
flipping logs and rocks for salamanders and playing games are
just a few of the activities campers will participate in as
they spend their summer days outside! |
Chipmunks
Ages 4 - 6
Weeks 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10

turtles and trees- Chipmunk campers spend each day discovering
nature. Insect catching, forest exploring, hiking, salamander
searching, making crafts and playing games are just a few of
the ways we’ll spend the week. Please provide a water bottle

Explorers
Entering Grades 3 & 4
All Weeks
9am - 4pm (4 Field Trips)

(Week 4 $165 mem / $190 non)Explore different
ecosystems every day as we to travel around Connecticut, Rhode
Island and the Nature Center. While visiting beaches, rivers,
meadows, wetlands and forests, campers will have opportunities
to catch frogs, crabs, and salamanders, climb on rocks, trees
and ledges, get wet, play games and make new friends.

Frogs
Ages 4 - 6
Weeks 1 - 10
9am - 1pm

(Week 4 $105 mem / $125 non)Want to extend the
camp fun through lunch? Frogs are for you! Explore a new
nature topic each day - turtles, trees and turkeys are just a
few examples of topics we will discover through forest
exploration, hikes, pond dipping, games and many more
activities. Please provide a water bottle, snack and
non-perishable lunch. |
Naturalists
Entering Grades 5 & 6
All Weeks
9am - 4pm (5 Field Trips)

adventures every day as we travel to fascinating destinations
to hike, catch frogs, fish and crabs, search for salamanders
and birds, climb rocks and learn more about the natural world
and our place in it. |
Eagles
Ages 4.5 - 6
All
Weeks 9am-4pm
$220 member $270 non/week
(Week 4 $160 mem / $190 non) All day camp is all day
fun! Eagles spend their days exploring the Nature Center,
meeting live animals, hiking the trails, sharing stories,
making crafts, playing games and much more! Please keep in
mind that Eagles do not nap and need to be able to stay active
all day. |
