Saturday. Discover the inspiring story of the Eastern Bluebird and its incredible comeback, thanks to dedicated citizen scientists who have built and monitored bluebird boxes for decades. After an introduction, we’ll head out on the trails to observe bluebird habitats firsthand and you’ll have an opportunity to join Team Bluebird at DPNC! Our volunteers monitor bluebird boxes from late March to early July, making a real impact on local populations. Whether you’re looking for a solo meadow hike or a rewarding activity to share with family and friends, we’ll provide all the training you need to help these beautiful birds thrive.
