Saturday. Late May is an ideal time to look for southern New England’s wildflowers, including one of the most unique, Lady Slippers. Join us to learn more about these native orchids, including their important relationships with fungi and pollinators. Hikers will be seated for about 15 minutes as we pause and discuss lady slippers. The hike is on uneven ground and moderately difficult.

Meet at the Peace Sanctuary entrance at 233 River River Road in Mystic, parking is on the roadside. This program is best for adults and older, interested children. Advanced registration is required.
