During these long sun-lit June days, the first crops of the season emerge. Herbs, greens, vegetables and spring berries are infused with a bright flavor story unique to the rich soil of Coogan Farm.
Experience it for yourself at our Garden Sip, Tour & Taste on Tuesday, June 20.
Start with a refreshingly tart rhubarb & rosemary-infused cocktail to savor as you stroll the farm road to the Craig Floyd Giving Garden. Discover spring’s young crops on a tour with Giving Garden Manager Koralee Lawrence and Coogan Farm Manager Craig Floyd as you learn about the sustainable and regenerative methods that have delivered a produce bounty over the last ten years.
After the tour, gather at the historic Coogan barn foundation for a seasonal four-course sampler of small plates. From a small-batch cured meat and cheese tasting board featuring pickled spring veggies and a savory rhubarb jam, to the grand finale of a Coogan Farm-grown strawberry and rhubarb crisp, the evening promises to be a delightful (and delicious) treat. Drinks and tasting included with tour and presentation.
