Discover the magic of watercolor in our one or two day watercolor workshops! Jenny and Leslie have a lighthearted approach to teaching watercolor. Their mantra is “If you can see it you can paint it!” They make creating splashy florals, nature motifs, and loose landscapes a breeze. Jenny and Leslie are excited to share the latest tips, tricks, and freestyle techniques that can take you from beginner to confident painter while expanding your creative horizons in a lush nature setting! Create dramatic bleeds and blossoms in no time, explore different types of brushes, experiment with other tools. Follow along with us and watch your own creative style emerge. Freestyle Watercolor is loose, fun and fast! You will gain a new way of looking at nature and learn to paint glowing compositions with minimal strokes.
Our in-person workshops are themed to reflect the season and location. Learn while watching live painting demonstrations and plenty of one-on-one instruction. Immerse yourself in the day, learn something new and leave with artwork and inspiration!

- Attend 1 Day (Saturday OR Sunday)

SATURDAY (6/29) AGENDA
After our introduction and warm-up exercises, we learn how to paint simple nature inspired motifs and scenes with drawing, brushstrokes, bleeds, and blending. Then we dive into how to paint splashy florals with the filbert brush and move into creating a beautiful floral design with what you learn. Throughout the day we will assist, advise, and demonstrate!
SUNDAY (6/30) AGENDA
After our introduction and warm-up exercises, we concentrate the morning on loose landscape and/or seascape painting! This is a 2-step process with a lot of room for experimentation. In the afternoon, we learn how to paint Jenny’s whimsical Fantasy Flowers! Her signature style includes imaginative flowers that do not occur in nature using transparency, glazing, white details, and bleeds. Throughout the day we will assist, advise, and demonstrate!

Catered lunch and a glass of wine at the end of the day is included!
