Saturday. Adult birders, join us in search of the elusive male American Woodcock! At twilight in early spring, males leave the safety and cover of their forest habitat to attract a mate through their dramatic and spiraling “sky dance.” Enjoy the show as this normally well-camouflaged bird transforms into a showy master of dazzling aerial displays for the sake of impressing females.
