Summer Nature Camp Week 2
June 19 – 23
Theme: Camouflaged Critters
In addition to our classic nature camp activities this week, we’ll explore one of nature’s most amazing adaptations: CAMOUFLAGE. Meet some of the resident animals that are masters of disguise! Campers also play games that demonstrate the importance of camouflage for survival and try their hand at some camo art.

Fledglings (Ages 3 – 4)
An Early Childhood Program
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
9:30 am-11:30 am
Let your little ones ages 3 to 4 years experience nature this summer! Your children will make summer discoveries as they explore the habitats around the Nature Center. Each week children will meet live animals, hike and play games. Bring a snack, water bottle, a change of clothes and sturdy shoes that can get muddy (No Crocs or flipflops, please.).
Sign up is per session.
Members: $76.50, Non-members: $90

Classic Camps
Join us at the Nature Center for a week of outdoor fun! Each morning we’ll start off with free play as campers arrive and check in. Throughout the day, campers will hike, have live animal encounters, and participate in games and activities that relate to the theme of the week. Please provide a morning snack, non-perishable lunch, water bottle and change of clothes. Sturdy shoes that can get wet and muddy are essential at camp! No crocs or flip flops.

Specialty Camp
Survival Skills: Knot Tying
(Ages 11-15)
In addition to lots of classic nature camp activities like hiking, pond dipping and meeting animal, this Survival Skills camp for ages 11-15 will focus on knot tying!
Square knot, bowline, clove hitch: how many of these important knots do you know? Knot tying is a valuable life skill and can be used on a daily basis! Campers focus on developing their knot-tying skills for both fun and practical uses. Lots of paracord and gimp crafts to take home, and each camper will make their own survival bracelet.
