Registration is open for the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center’s 2015-16 Homeschool program. The program has been expanded to a second class each month. The first class is Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The Homeschool program meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from September through June, 1:30-4:30 p.m. It is designed for ages 5-12.
Cost is $15/session. Pre-registration and DPNC membership is required.
The Nature Center’s Homeschool program provides hands-on activities, educational games, and standards-based learning, taught by our educators. Students will participate in active inquiry and scientific exploration. Each week explores a different theme that connects to the meadow, forest and wetland communities at the DPNC. Our resident live animals will make guest appearances throughout the year.
