Wild Mushroom Festival

Celebrate all things mushroom at the Wild Mushroom Festival on Saturday, October 14.
Learn about mushroom hunting and identification through woodland walks and talks with naturalists, foragers and experts. Expand your knowledge at the mushroom identification table, while exploring tastes of mushroom-themed food and drink from local chefs.
And enjoy browsing the expanded Mushroom Marketplace, with more than 30 artists, mycologists, foragers, crafters, growers and chefs offering items for sale, and the Fantastic Fungi raffle, featuring a curated collection of tools, artwork, jewelry, clothing and growing supplies.
Hours are expanded this year, allowing more time for learning, eating, foraging and shopping! Doors open promptly at 12:30 pm and the festival runs until 4:30 pm. Advanced ticket purchase is required; the festival is expected to sell out before October 14.

Adults: $50 (includes 12 food tickets, admission to the festival and Mushroom Marketplace and two raffle tickets to Saturday’s Fantastic Fungi raffle)
Children 3-12: $20 (includes 6 food tickets, admission to the festival and Mushroom Marketplace)
Children 0-3: free
Additional food and raffle tickets are available for purchase at the festival.

Mushroom Immersion with the Mushroom Hunting Foundation
Delve into the fascinating world of fungi with Ryan & Emily of the Mushroom Hunting Foundation for a 3.5-hour mushroom experience.
We’ll begin with a 60-minute classroom session and Q&A, followed by a 90-minute guided foray on DPNC trails. To cap it off, a private cooking demonstration and tasting session, featuring wild tastes of the forest foraged that day. Suitable for both new and experienced mushroom enthusiasts. Seats are extremely limited for this small-group program.
Mushroom Super Ticket includes:
- Friday’s 3.5 -hour small group Mushroom Immersion program (limited seats available; program will run again Sunday morning if second session is required)
