Join us for Luminaria: A Walk in the Winter Woods this December!
Wind through forest trails on a December evening in Mystic, lit by the soft glow of nearly 1000 luminaria. After your walk enjoy holiday music and warm up by a festive fire with hot pretzels, cookies, a hot apple cider or hot chocolate at our Winter Cafe. Adult holiday libations (including wine, beer, spiked peppermint hot chocolate and hot cider with spiced rum) are available and sold separately.
Luminaria welcomes both children and adults to celebrate the season! Saturday’s special event is a visit from Woodland Santa on Saturday, Dec 9. Children will meet with Santa indoors at the Nature Center and have the opportunity to take a photo as well.
Each of the three evenings of Luminaria includes featured guests:
Friday, Dec. 8: owls and other live animals
Saturday, Dec. 9 Woodland Santa from 4:30 pm to 6 pm
Sunday, Dec. 10 Holiday carolers
Event is held Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Ticket includes your walk in the woods, fires, hot cider, hot cocoa and snacks at our Winter Cafe; adult holiday libation tickets sold separately. Advance ticket purchase is required, timed starts beginning at 4:30 pm.
