The Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center is one of nine distribution centers for Mystic Community Bikes, which means our visitors can ‘borrow’ bicycles from us to keep their healthy and green visit going as they tour Mystic.
In addition, the Nature Center is proud to be a sponsor of the 2014 Bike Stonington map, which provides bicyclists with a map of biking routes through Mystic, Ledyard, Groton, North Stonington and Stonington. The maps are available free of charge at the Nature Center.
May is National Bike Month, sponsored by the League of American Bicyclists.
The Nature Center has three bikes available, and helmets in different sizes. Each Mystic Community Bike also comes with a lock. Mystic Community Bikes asks that you return the bikes to the place from which you started, otherwise the $10 deposit will not be refunded. Bikes are available per day, although arrangements can be made for longer, call Mystic Community Bikes.
Borrowing a bike requires a valid driver’s license/ID and a $10 refundable deposit.
