Bank Square Books and the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center teamed up again on May 24, this time to take a culinary walk on the wild side.

Ava Chin, author of Eating Wildly: Foraging for Life, Love and the Perfect Meal, joined DPNC Executive Director/Botanist Maggie Jones for a foraging walk that started at The Nature and Heritage Center at Coogan Farm, and ended at the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, where Ava read from her book, signed copies, and walkers were able to sample some delicious foods made with locally foraged vegetation, including a ramp and lentil salad that brought raves from the crowd.

About 40 people joined the walk.
